On the morning of August 28, the Jining Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal People’s Government convened an entrepreneurs’ symposium. Centering on the two landmark industrial chains of construction machinery and special‑purpose equipment, the event was held in two special sessions to hear about corporate development status and corporate demands, with on‑site responses and handling to fully support enterprises to grow stronger. Wen Jinrong, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Guo Fei, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and Wang Hongwei, Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, were present. Wen Jinrong emphasized that entrepreneurs are a valuable asset for Jining. The Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal People’s Government will stand side by side with entrepreneurs and fully back enterprises in expanding investment and launching new projects. Leading chain‑core enterprises are expected to sharpen technological innovation to drive coordinated progress of upstream and downstream partners. Backbone enterprises shall consolidate real‑economy operations and strengthen core businesses. High‑growth enterprises shall deepen segmented niches and pursue featured development paths. Entrepreneurs should carry forward the entrepreneurial spirit and the Confucian‑business ethos, base and invest in Jining, and integrate corporate development blueprints into Jining’s high‑quality development agenda.
Wen Jinrong required Party committees and governments at all levels to act as a solid backing for enterprises, anticipate challenges, deliver proactive services, and act as dedicated “service providers”. Efforts shall continue to optimize the business environment under the principle of “respond to every request, avoid unnecessary interference”, so entrepreneurs can operate with peace of mind, pursue development, and achieve new accomplishments in Jining.
